I just want to say that I was born in Winchester, and grew up going to snow white grill! I love the food and now I live in Panama city Beach FL. I wish we had one down here!!! I know it would do good!!!! Everytime I come to winchester to see family, we HAVE to go to snow white grill downtown!!!! It's amazing and I wish there was one closer LOL Keep up the good food!!!!!! This all started over doing a Faceboook survey about things that make me smile.  After the obligatory, family, friends, etc. my final answer was cheeseburgers.  You can ask anyone in my family and they will tell you that my favorite food is cheeseburgers.  My parents used to serve up steak when I was a little girl and I would always ask "do we have any cheeseburgers?" :-)

 

Anyways, my Facebook survey struck up a lot of comments about where to get the best burgers, and of course I added Snow White to my list, which I thought had all closed.  I have two aunts and a uncle that all worked at the Snow White in Frederick during the 60's and maybe into the early 70's.  Two of them are no longer living, but I can remember pulling up to the counter and getting those delicious, juicy little burgers, my cone of fries and that extra fizzy fountain soda!!!  As a young teenager my aunt would even let me help put the napkins in the holders or fill the salt and peppers...what a treat!

 

And then I found the Jay Leno clip, so I had to post that on Facebook, making the claim that White Castle might be an older establishment, but I bet they never got mentioned on the Jay Leno show!

 

Thanks for the memories Snow White...and now that I know you still exist in Winchester, I think I might just have to make the trip from Brunswick, Maryland and bring my two grown sons so they have some idea what yummy goodness I have been talking about my whole life!!!
